Indigo 149

About

A contemporary jazz trio from East London, Indigo 149 perform traditional Jazz and Soul as well as their own original compositions and improvisations. No two gigs are ever the same and with vocals, piano and double bass, their music is refined and balanced.

Indigo 149 first came together in December 2008 to perform for the birthdays and weddings of mutual acquaintances, but their tone and instinctive creativity lead to more and more dates throughout early 2009, performing not only in London, at venues such as the Orangery, Kensington, but across the south of the United Kingdom, in Devon, Surrey and Sussex. Then in the summer of the same year their reputation landed them a headline slot at the world famous 100 Club on Oxford Street.

For any function, Indigo 149 can provide an exquisite atmosphere. Lounge Jazz and Soul or contemporary improvisation.
