String Tone Players

About

The String Tone Players could have never existed, we all just imagined they did.

They play songs about apples and macroeconomics; folk music from all around the world, primarily through the classic string-band combination of banjo, fiddle and guitar.

Whether you want to hear American, English, Irish or Scottish folk music, call on the String Tone Players.

They primarily play rollicking instrumental dance tunes but they also have a repertoire of songs and slow waltzes.

Popular at dances and festivals the String Tone Players can also form the basis of a Ceilidh band, performing with further musicians, professional dancers and a caller.

We’re so glad we bought String Tone Players to our party, they really brought the place to life with their infectious toe-tapping music.

I’ve always wanted to have a Ceilidh at my wedding. The caller was brilliant, really fun and friendly and got everyone dancing, it was a great laugh.
